GOFLEX PUMP

V-202 Rotary Vane Vacuum Pump

The GOFLEX V-202 (V202) is a single-stage, oil-sealed rotary vane vacuum pump. The listed 200 m³/h pumping speed is a configuration reference; confirm motor voltage, frequency and the pumping-speed curve at your working pressure before sizing a central vacuum system or process installation.

For thermoforming, packaging or degassing, send the chamber volume, evacuation time, starting and target pressures, gas composition and operating schedule. Include water-vapour and particle loads so gas-ballast arrangements, inlet protection, oil requirements and exhaust treatment can be reviewed. Confirm cooling, service intervals and continuous-duty capability for the proposed operating conditions.

Features & Key Advantages

⚡

Direct-Drive Performance

Confirm the motor rating, frequency and pumping-speed curve for the selected V-202 configuration. Chamber volume, target pressure, leakage and pipe conductance determine the achievable pump-down time.

💧

Vapor Load Assessment

Confirm water vapor tolerance and evacuation rate under the specified inlet pressure, temperature and gas-ballast setting. Review condensation control, oil condition and operating limits for the intended duty cycle.

🛡️

Oil Mist Separation

Integrated oil separator elements help reduce oil carryover. Exhaust quality and oil consumption depend on process gas, load, oil condition and separator maintenance; assess ventilation and any required exhaust treatment.

⚙️

Inlet & System Integration

Confirm the intake thread, dimensions and connection position for the supplied configuration. Size pipework and manifolds for the required flow and pressure loss, with suitable cooling clearance and service access.

Target Applications & Industry Uses

Primary Heavy Industrial Applications

  • Large-sheet thermoforming: compare forming volume, tooling leakage, target pressure and cycle time with the selected V-202 performance curve.
  • Vacuum and modified-atmosphere packaging: assess chamber volume, cycle demand, vapor load and product carryover within the complete packaging-system design.
  • Resin degassing and impregnation: confirm gas and material compatibility and provide inlet protection against liquid, resin or oil carryover.
  • Central vacuum networks and CNC clamping: calculate simultaneous demand, leakage and pipeline losses, and review controls for loss of vacuum.
  • Drying and distillation: confirm pressure and vapor requirements and assess condensation control; freeze-drying requires a separate review of the complete vacuum and condenser system.
  • Vacuum lifting and handling: calculate holding force, leakage and peak demand, and review equipment controls for loss of vacuum.

Key Industry Sectors

  • Automotive and plastics equipment: assess cycle demand, fumes, process temperature and installation requirements before selection.
  • Food packaging equipment: review vapor and product carryover, cleaning provisions and exhaust management against equipment hygiene requirements.
  • Chemical and pharmaceutical equipment: define process gases, compatibility, containment and required pressure before assessing pump suitability.
  • Woodworking, glass and stone machinery: assess dust load, leakage, fixture design and holding-force requirements.
  • Electronics and impregnation lines: confirm process compatibility, pressure requirements and protection from entrained material.
  • Central vacuum stations: size for peak and average demand, receiver capacity, pipe losses, pump sequencing and reserve capacity.

Advanced Technical FAQ

What operational advantages does the V202 offer over the smaller V100 model? +

The V202 and V100 differ in nominal pumping capacity and motor configuration. Compare the supplied versions at the same frequency and inlet pressure using their pumping-speed curves. Chamber volume, leakage, pipeline losses and vapor load determine which configuration meets the required cycle and duty.

What should be checked before using the V202 for continuous vapor and moisture degassing? +

Moisture control depends on vapor load, inlet pressure, pump temperature and the gas-ballast configuration. Confirm the applicable vapor ratings and operating procedure for the supplied pump, and assess inlet condensation control. Inspect oil condition; continuous vapor handling does not guarantee freedom from oil contamination.

Can the V202 be integrated into centralized industrial vacuum systems? +

Central-system integration requires sizing against peak and average demand, pipeline losses, target pressure and receiver capacity. Confirm the pump configuration, connection details, controls, sequencing and reserve capacity before specifying a multi-station system.

What electrical protection and starting requirements are recommended for the 4.5 kW motor? +

Confirm the supplied motor nameplate, voltage, frequency, phase, starting method and permitted start frequency. Have the machinery electrical design specify protection and controls. Use a soft starter or VFD only after confirming compatibility and operating limits with the pump and motor supplier.
